W-I-L-D-CAT! With a name like Trey, we should’ve known…Deadeye Jr. from the 3 spot. I remember Pops had a calming affect, both on the bench and on the court. Kept his composure always. Very cerebral. Saw the whole court and knew his, his teammates’, and his opponents’ part in it. Thought he might be in coaching someday. Good to see the ultimate good guy has done well for his family and himself. Welcome home Trey.

Also blame it on Ka’Deem. He still hasn’t his court date. Not that Jenkins is wishing jail on his running mate, but you never know…..

Wow. A great win. Looked almost impossible Arizona would win the cup again this year but the softball team came through as well as the baseball team. If there ever was a territorial cup play of the year award, my vote goes Johnny Field’s amazing catch to end the inning with the bases loaded in baseball game one. The diving catch preserved UofA’s lead and for UA to go on to win Friday’s game 10-7. That play was key in winning our 4th straight territorial cup. We may not be national champs again but still state of AZ champs. Suck on that one Asswho!

Technically he never came to WSU so he never left Arizona. And it’s not like he would have been handed the job here either; Halliday won’t be “handed” the QB job because he’s the more experienced one. Wilson wasn’t handed playing time when he didn’t work for it. Honestly I was surprised that a running back wanted to transfer here when our OL hasn’t gotten to the level it needs to be. It sucks to see a guy go back without ever making it here, but we have a lot of talent coming in at RB so I’m not too worried. The senior leadership would have been nice though.

Let’s see…Who do I play for?…RichRod or Leach?…Leach or RichRod?…When a guy would rather come back and play in a backfield four or five deep, when he’d rather compete for his playing time than have it handed to him, when he’d rather be his own person than have someone else call the shots for him, you might say three things about this guy. He trusts his own abilities enough to not cut and run; he knows enough to know good coaching when he’s been a recipient of it; and, he keeps the so-called experts, his handlers at arm’s length or more. And if there’s a presser to be won in this whole affair this off-season, you might say the U of A has won it, hands down. Nothing like having your player go from your school to a competitor’s school and return home — to your school. And all in the same conference. From one marquee coach to another marquee coach…and back again. The U of A and RichRod 1, WSU and Leach back to square one.
