  • Hush Robinson

This looks like a complete lineup – good job!

I think it will be difficult to make one team out of all the players.

I agree with the first comment.  Very well thought out and you gave credit where credit was due.

  • volleyball

This is Ben Bushman, isn’t it?

  • zonazoo

Great list but I think there was three players very deserving of a place on the list:   Laurel Karten ; Flowing Wells  : Jazmin Rogers ; Palo Verde and  Martina Kneifel ; Canyon Del Ore. Just thought I would take the time to mention them.

  • Arrgh!

Yeah! Finally some respect for Zana and Erin. Two fine players who’ve never enjoyed the backing of a media relations operation.

  • http://www.expicks.com Kell

Yes definitely agree that Zana is one great player. Keep going!

  • VB Dad

I think you did a pretty respectable job overall, but after reading your review of last night’s Amphi/Arcadia matchup, it is obvious you have a lovefest going with Amphi.  Kerry Lane is very good, especially for a freshman, but Liz Graham has led her team to 4 victories over Amphi this year (2 in tournamnet play, and both regular season games home & away), and makes far fewer errors than Kerry Lane.  And one more thing, Liz led the Trojans to an undefeated season (17-0).  Hands down, Liz deserves to be on the First Team.

  • Christina

Great Job Empire Ravens! You guys did wonderful this year, I hope you guys can keep up the fanstatic work you guys did this year. [:
    GO EMPIRE RAVENS!!!

  • vbscout

Liz is a great player and deserves recognition.  That being said, team records and head to head competition depend on a variety of factors.  Lane currently leads the entire area in assists with nearly 100 more than Liz.  That deserves recognition too.  Would be nice if both could be on 1st team.

  • vballplayer

i think you did a very good job, you didnt just look at stats. Which needs to be done.
one also needs to look at the skill, Leadership, and work ethic of  players to determine who gets honors.
