CD 9 Congressional Candidate Vernon Parker’s house under foreclosure?

by on Apr. 03, 2012, under 2012 Presidential elections, female-led political movement, Hispanic Latino Vote

I just learnt the Republican Congressional candidate — Vernon Parker’s house may be in foreclosure.  According to the Maricopa County Recorder Notices — Trustee’s of Sale, the sale is set for May 11, 2012 at 12:30 at the Superior Court located at 201 W. Jefferson in Phoenix, AZ.

Is this the way Vernon moves into Congressional District 9?  Really?

His house is in foreclosure?

He is running for Congress?

Whatever happened to that Republican mantra of “personal responsibility?”

How are Republicans going to explain the fact that Vernon wants taxpayers to trust him with their taxpayer dollars when he can’t even keep track of his own finances let alone a small business?

It gets better….the Tea Party nativists and extremists over at “SEEING RED AZ” penned a piece against Vernon below. No wonder Vernon was kissing Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s buttocks in 2010 offering bus tours for $200.00 – $800.00 to take a trip at the border as they “talked about” the immigrant situation.  It all makes sense now. Vernon Parker succumbed to Tea Party extremism and in his feeble attempt to be humble….he cowered down and began offering Arpaio bus tour trips to make it up to them.

Vernon Parker’s latest scam

Failed Third Congressional candidate Vernon Parker’s questionable maneuverings have long been the topic of conversation.  According to this account in the Arizona Republic, citing a federal report, Parker submitted misleading information about his then-status as a federal employee to get his consulting firm certified through a small-business program. As a result of that certification Parker’s diversity-centered business, VBP Group LLC, received a contract worth $1.2 million from the U.S. Small Business Administration. The contract paid VBP Group to coach small businesses on how to apply for government contracts.

According to an article found on Arizona Central, the SBA has begun a “debarment” process against Vernon Parker.  And now Vernon wants Americans to trust him?

Pffft.  That’ll be a cold day in Arizona!

From AZ CENTRAL:

As the result of the report, the SBA has begun a “debarment” process to prohibit Parker from getting other government contracts. Parker said that he plans to appeal.
