Dos Cabezas winery wins 2 top Governor’s Choice honors

Dos Cabezas WineWorks took two of the top four prizes, plus a bronze medal in the 2007 Governor's Choice Awards.
Dos Cabezas WineWorks won two of the top four Governor’s Choice Awards for Arizona wines for 2007.
In a recent competition sponsored by the Arizona Wine Grower’s Association and The American Wine Society Tucson Chapter, a panel of four judges chose winners in four categories, says AWGA President Rod Keeling.
The judges included Kathleen Carter, then of 58 Degrees & Holding Co., now sommelier for Bistro Philippe, and Doug Levy, chef-owner of Feast.
Several of the wineries will offer samples from the 22 winners at The Governor’s Choice 2007 Awards Presentation and Tasting March 22 (see box).
