Tucson Unified School District’s governing board will have a special meeting Tuesday to discuss the fully insured medical program for retirees and look into incentives for hiring hard-to-fill positions, specifically in special education.
Board members also will discuss contract agreements with administrators, research project managers and psychologists.
They will get an update on air-conditioning preparation at schools. School begins Aug. 11.
The 6:45 p.m. meeting will be at the board conference room, 1010 E. 10th St. It will be preceded by a 5:30 p.m. closed, executive session.
