A $5,000 reward is being offered for information about Elnora Charles, who was last seen Nov. 15, 2007.

Her car was found abandoned at Incinerator Ridge in the Santa Catalina Mountains, Tucson police said.

She was last seen about 7 p.m. driving northbound on First Avenue at Fort Lowell Road.

“The investigation into her disappearance remains open and active,” said Sgt. Fabian Pacheco, a police spokesman.

Charles is 63, 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighed 170 pounds when she vanished.

The area where her vehicle was found was searched several times, Pacheco said, with no results.

Pacheco said rewards help police identify criminals and can help bring a missing loved one back home.

The money is being provided by the Carole Sund/Carrington Foundation.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

Citizen Online Archive, 2006-2009

This archive contains all the stories that appeared on the Tucson Citizen's website from mid-2006 to June 1, 2009.

In 2010, a power surge fried a server that contained all of videos linked to dozens of stories in this archive. Also, a server that contained all of the databases for dozens of stories was accidentally erased, so all of those links are broken as well. However, all of the text and photos that accompanied some stories have been preserved.

For all of the stories that were archived by the Tucson Citizen newspaper's library in a digital archive between 1993 and 2009, go to Morgue Part 2
