Palo Verde's Adam Hall will be a Parade All-American.
Add yet another notation to the impressive and ever-growing high school football résumé of Adam Hall.
The Palo Verde High School senior has been informed he will be included in the 2009 PARADE All-America team, which will be published in the weekly magazine Sunday.
“It means so much to be a part of something with so much history,” Hall said. “Just thinking about how prestigious a thing it is, it’s just really been a blessing. That and everything that I’ve been able to be a part of this year.”
Hall, an all-purpose player who scored 38 touchdowns last fall in six different ways, joins 12 other Tucsonans who have been honored by the weekend magazine. He’s just the second in the past decade (Salpointe offensive lineman Kris O’Dowd earned the distinction in 2007).
Hall has been named a MaxPreps.com All-American as running back, played wide receiver in the U.S. Army All-American Game, played safety in an all-star game in Hawaii and was named the 2008 Tucson Citizen Player of the Year.
Hall is being courted by some of the nation’s best football programs – some pursuing him for offense, some for defense, some for both. He said his favorites are the University of Arizona, California and Oregon. Oregon State is still a consideration as well.
National signing day is Feb. 4.
