Beginning April 7, Tucson Originals will offer hands-on cooking classes every other Tuesday taught by some of Tucson’s best chefs.
Classes will be held from 6-8 p.m. (they culminate in dinner with the chef) at Tucson Wholesale Supply, 4229 E. Speedway Blvd.
Space is limited to 10 participants. Cost for the series of five classes is $750 per person, which includes recipes for the series, notebook, dinner and beverages at each session. Classes are sold as a package, but you are welcome to divide classes with a friend if you can’t attend all five.
• April 7: “The Egg is Where it All Begins,” with Albert Hall, Acacia
• April 21: “Chiles and other Fresh-from-the-Garden Delights,” with Janos Wilder, Janos/J BAR
• May 5: “Smoke it, Poach it, Roast it – The Secrets of Seafood Revealed,” with Jim Murphy, Kingfisher/Bluefin
• May 19: “Perfect Poultry,” with Doug Levy, Feast
• June 2: “The Carnivore’s Delight,” with Jonathan Landeen, Jonathan’s Cork
