Crash on South Side; radar van on East Side

Traffic was mostly clear by 8 a.m. Monday as rush hour got under way in the Tucson area.

No tie ups or other incidents were reported by area public safety agencies, except for an auto/pedestrian collision with undetermined injuries in the unincorporated county.

That was:

• At West Capistrano Road and South Hildreth Avenue, north of Valencia and Mission roads, reported to sheriff’s deputies at 7:50 a.m.

The Tucson police photo radar van and its crew will be assigned to watch for speeders at the following places and times:

• The 300 block of South Harrison Road near Gridley Middle School, from 7 to 10:30 a.m.

• The construction zone on East Grant Road near South Craycroft Road, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

• The 7400 block of East Stella Road near Reynolds Elementary School, from 2 to 5 p.m.

• North Camino Seco near East Speedway Boulevard, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

Citizen Online Archive, 2006-2009

This archive contains all the stories that appeared on the Tucson Citizen's website from mid-2006 to June 1, 2009.

In 2010, a power surge fried a server that contained all of videos linked to dozens of stories in this archive. Also, a server that contained all of the databases for dozens of stories was accidentally erased, so all of those links are broken as well. However, all of the text and photos that accompanied some stories have been preserved.

For all of the stories that were archived by the Tucson Citizen newspaper's library in a digital archive between 1993 and 2009, go to Morgue Part 2
