TUSD board meeting Tuesday to discuss budget updates

The Tucson Unified School District governing board will have a special meeting Tuesday to get updated on the budgets for this year and next.

The board also will appoint new members to the Bond Fiscal Oversight Committee at the meeting, which will be in the board room of TUSD headquarters, 1010 E. 10th St.

The gather will begin at 6:30 p.m., but it will immediately go into a closed, executive session to finalize its plans on the appointments.

It is expected to reconvene to the public at about 6:45 p.m. After the public meeting, the board again will go into executive session to discuss progress on being released from its three-decades-old federal desegregation court order.

Citizen Online Archive, 2006-2009

This archive contains all the stories that appeared on the Tucson Citizen's website from mid-2006 to June 1, 2009.

In 2010, a power surge fried a server that contained all of videos linked to dozens of stories in this archive. Also, a server that contained all of the databases for dozens of stories was accidentally erased, so all of those links are broken as well. However, all of the text and photos that accompanied some stories have been preserved.

For all of the stories that were archived by the Tucson Citizen newspaper's library in a digital archive between 1993 and 2009, go to Morgue Part 2
