Four crashes reported; radar van starting on Harrison

City police were investigating four non-injury collisions that could slow your Monday morning commute.

The collisions were:

• At South Tucson Boulevard and East Valencia Road, reported to police at 7:28 a.m.

• At South Mission and West Silverlake roads, reported at 7:19 a.m.

• At East Sixth Street and North Stone Avenue, reported at 6:40 a.m.

• At East Irvington and South Kolb roads, reported at 6:05 a.m.

RADAR VAN

The Tucson police photo radar van and its crew will be assigned to watch for speeders at the following places and times:

• North Harrison Road near East Fifth Street in the area of Henry Elementary School, from 7 to 10:30 a.m.

• North Harrison Road between East Speedway Boulevard and East Wrightstown Road, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

• The 1400 block of East Broadway near Miles Exploratory Learning Center, from 2 to 5 p.m.

• East Fifth Street near North Craycroft Road, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

This archive contains all the stories that appeared on the Tucson Citizen's website from mid-2006 to June 1, 2009.

In 2010, a power surge fried a server that contained all of videos linked to dozens of stories in this archive. Also, a server that contained all of the databases for dozens of stories was accidentally erased, so all of those links are broken as well.
