Traffic was clear in the metro area by 7:20 a.m Thursday, with area public safety agencies reporting no traffic lights on the fritz, no road hazards and no collisions to slow morning commuters.
RADAR VAN
The Tucson police photo radar van and its crew will be assigned to watch for speeders at the following places and times:
• The school crossing on East Escalante Road near South Prudence Road, from 7 to 10:30 a.m.
• North Camino Seco near East Speedway Boulevard, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• North Alvernon Way near East Kleindale Road near Davidson Elementary School, from 2 to 5 p.m.
• East Fifth Street near North Craycroft Road, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
