FLAGSTAFF — Skiers and snowboarders who want to hit the slopes at Arizona Snowbowl better do it this weekend – or wait another year.
The ski resort north of Flagstaff plans to close after Sunday.
A beginner trail has already closed because of warmer weather, but the main part of the mountain still has from 29 to 60 inches of packed snow. Just one of four lifts is operating.
The resort is open on a modified schedule this final weekend, with the lift running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The resort opened for the season on Dec. 20.
