Crash reported at Grant & Alvernon; radar van starting on West Side

√Traffic is blah, blah, blah on Friday morning, just in time for Blah Blah Blah Day.

A collision with injuries was reported at North Alvernon Way and East Grant Road 5:57 a.m.

Contrary to its name, Blah Blah Blah Day is not a time to be bored with the world.

It’s a holiday set aside to tend to all those tasks you’ve been putting off for weeks, months or even years.

Motorists needing a long-awaited oil change or car tune-up should maybe think about getting it done. Or you can finally clean out those fast food wrappers from under the car seat.

RADAR VAN

To make sure paying a speeding ticket doesn’t become part of the Blah Blah Blah list, folks are advised the Tucson police radar van will at the following locations:

• 7 to 10:30 a.m., near Tolson Elementary School in the 1000 block of South Greasewood Road

• 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on West Speedway Boulevard near North Silverbell Road

• 2 to 5 p.m., near Robison Elementary School on South Tucson Boulevard near East 18th Street

• 5:30 to 9 p.m. on East Broadway near South Santa Rita Avenue

Citizen Online Archive, 2006-2009

This archive contains all the stories that appeared on the Tucson Citizen's website from mid-2006 to June 1, 2009.

In 2010, a power surge fried a server that contained all of videos linked to dozens of stories in this archive. Also, a server that contained all of the databases for dozens of stories was accidentally erased, so all of those links are broken as well. However, all of the text and photos that accompanied some stories have been preserved.

For all of the stories that were archived by the Tucson Citizen newspaper's library in a digital archive between 1993 and 2009, go to Morgue Part 2
