THE A LIST

Art Flagg has been appointed interim president of the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association. Flagg replaces Edward Taczanowsky, who announced his resignation. Taczanowsky served SAHBA for more than six years. Flagg has served as SAHBA’s chairman of the board and is a life director. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the homebuilding industry.

Tucson residents Kris Poola and Randy Alama recently participated in the SkillsUSA Arizona Championships. Carl Triphahn, executive director of P.I.P.E., Piping Industry Progress and Education Trust Fund, and Dana Jones, a manufacturers representative for Sunstate Sales Inc., served as proctors in the plumbing category. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled work force.

The A List gives props to the Tucson business community’s movers and shakers. Send information to alist@tucsoncitizen.com.

Citizen Online Archive, 2006-2009

This archive contains all the stories that appeared on the Tucson Citizen's website from mid-2006 to June 1, 2009.

In 2010, a power surge fried a server that contained all of videos linked to dozens of stories in this archive. Also, a server that contained all of the databases for dozens of stories was accidentally erased, so all of those links are broken as well. However, all of the text and photos that accompanied some stories have been preserved.

For all of the stories that were archived by the Tucson Citizen newspaper's library in a digital archive between 1993 and 2009, go to Morgue Part 2
