Crash reported on Miracle Mile; radar van patrolling Midtown

Traffic was mostly clear by 7:25 a.m. Thursday, except for a collision under investigation by Tucson police.

That was:

• At West Miracle Mile near Interstate 10, a non-injury collision, reported to police at 6:49 a.m.

Other area public safety agencies reported clear roads for morning commuters.

The Tucson police photo radar van and its crew will be assigned to the following places and times:

• The school crossing on East 22nd Street near South Treat Avenue, from 6 to 9:30 a.m.

• South Sixth Avenue between Valencia and Bilby Roads, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

• The 1000 block of South Greasewood Road near Tolson Elementary School, south of Broadway, from 1:30 to 5 p.m.

• East Broadway near Campbell Avenue, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Citizen Online Archive, 2006-2009

This archive contains all the stories that appeared on the Tucson Citizen's website from mid-2006 to June 1, 2009.

In 2010, a power surge fried a server that contained all of videos linked to dozens of stories in this archive. Also, a server that contained all of the databases for dozens of stories was accidentally erased, so all of those links are broken as well. However, all of the text and photos that accompanied some stories have been preserved.

For all of the stories that were archived by the Tucson Citizen newspaper's library in a digital archive between 1993 and 2009, go to Morgue Part 2
