Two crashes reported; radar van starting near Reynolds Elementary

Two collisions were under investigation by Tucson police by 7:25 a.m. Tuesday.

They were:

• In the 7200 block of East Rosewood Street, near Kolb Road and Speedway Boulevard, a collision with unspecified injuries, reported at 7:04 a.m.

• East Grant Road and North Beverly Avenue, a non-injury collision, reported at 6:49 a.m.

RADAR VAN

The Tucson police photo radar van and its crew will be assigned to watch for speeders at the following places and times:

• East Stella Road near South Clinton Avenue, near Reynolds Elementary School, from 6 to 9:30 a.m.

• East Golf Links Road between South Camino Seco and South Kolb Road, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

• The 2700 block of South La Cholla Boulevard near Oyama Elementary School, from 1:30 to 5 p.m.

• West Starr Pass Boulevard near South Mission Road, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

This archive contains all the stories that appeared on the Tucson Citizen's website from mid-2006 to June 1, 2009.

In 2010, a power surge fried a server that contained all of videos linked to dozens of stories in this archive. Also, a server that contained all of the databases for dozens of stories was accidentally erased, so all of those links are broken as well. However, all of the text and photos that accompanied some stories have been preserved.
