Game highlights: Chicago scored its only run in the second when Juan Uribe singled and scored on Joe Crede’s double off Claudio Vargas.

Right-hander Javier Vazquez scattered seven hits and yielded three runs in six innings.

Notable: The roster is now at 26 after pitchers Javier Lopez and Tim Redding were reassigned Monday. The White Sox have one more cut before getting down to the mandatory 25-man roster for opening day, which is Sunday for Chicago.
