Hitting recap: Stephen Drew and Augie Ojeda had two hits apiece for the Diamondbacks.

Rickie Weeks hit a three-run homer in the third inning to lead Milwaukee.

Pitching recap: Left-hander Doug Davis started for Arizona and struggled early with his command. The Brewers got two hits and two walks in the first inning, but Davis held them to one run on Prince Fielder’s RBI single. Davis went four innings, allowing six hits, three walks and two runs.

Quotable: “I had trouble locating my fastball,” Davis said. “I was up with it a little bit. I experimented a lot with my change-up when I was behind in the count. I was happy with that.”
