Bank robbers’ morals better than the lefts’
During the presidential campaign, Barack Obama notoriously stated that he wanted to “spread the wealth around” – in other words, confiscate money from those who have earned it so that government could direct it to those who did not earn it.
This is theft, and even the political left knows it. Witness the Jan. 12 New York Times column of leftist Bob Herbert, who praises larceny when he says “there’s a good idea floating around that takes its cue from the legendary Willie Sutton.”
Willie Sutton, of course, is the bank robber who wisecracked that he stole money from banks because “that’s where the money is.” That’s the left in a nutshell: they believe that taking your hard-earned money is morally OK, simply because you have earned some money.
Actually, though, bank robbers have far better morals than the political left. Bank robbers don’t try to pretend that what they’re doing is moral by making theft legal.

Media liberals want to keep racism alive
Liberalism is the reason why America has a so-called negative image around the world.
For some crazy reason, liberals believe America is an evil, imperialistic nation -the cause of all the problems in the world. Their personal self-hatred of their own country has leaked over into the mainstream media and in politics.
The character assassination of President Bush by liberal politicians and the ;iberal media is the real reason why the American image has been tainted, not mistakes of Bush.
Their verbal display of hatred towards Bush resulted only in people around the world developing an unfavorable view of America.
How will the liberal media treat President Obama? Will they accuse him of being an incompetent liar if he sends the military into war over intelligent that turns out to be inaccurate? Will they call President Obama an incompetent racist if a hurricane strikes the predominately white community of Portland, Maine, and kills 1,000 Americans?
Liberals in the media want to keep racism alive because they know it divides America.
The greatest mistake of the Greatest Generation, and many of the Baby Boomers, was that they continued the social and institutional acts of racism from previous generations. But, the next two generations of Americans are innocent of institutional and social acts of racism towards Native Americans and African Americans.
Yet, liberal politicians and members of the media have been successful in imposing guilt and passing racist laws such as affirmation action upon a generation of white Americans who had nothing to do with years of systemic racism.
Jesse Jackson, Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Al Sharpton have a right to be bitter about the racists acts committed against them. But, black leaders and members of the liberal media need to realize that the next generation of white Americans is different.
Liberal Americans – citizens, politicians, the media – continue do everything they can to widen separation between the church and state. Yet, it seems like they are eager embrace a union between the mosque and state.
It is surprising how much they fear a religion that is known to thump the head of an unbeliever with a Bible. But, they are willing to defend a religion that has a history of cutting off the head of an infidel with a sword.
It is rather shocking how much similarity there is between liberals and radical Muslims. Liberals in California were out of control after Proposition 8 passed, banning gay marriage. They unleashed several days of violent, riotous acts of intolerance demonstrating their displeasure.
In a similar manner, radical Muslims gather in the streets, burning flags and chanting words of hate against anything they are unhappy with.
In contrast, after conservative Christians in South Dakota lost their attempt to ban abortion, they did not start riots in the streets chanting: “What do we want? Unborn American baby rights. When do we want it? Now!”
Liberals see themselves as liberators when they take the rights of unborn American citizens (in the womb) and give those rights to polar bears, criminal illegal immigrants and the terrorists in Gitmo.
They would love nothing more than to see the terrorists in Gitmo replaced with conservatives, evangelical Christians, and the U.S. military. They have successfully, but inaccurately, labeled conservatives and Christians as uncompassionate, intolerant bigots.
Yet, conservatives give more money to charities than liberals do. And, Christians have sent thousands of missionaries and billions of dollars to needy countries around the world.
Now that Chris Matthews, Tom Brokaw, Campbell Brown and the rest of the liberal media have their liberal president, the American image will be portrayed with a positive message.
It would be nice if they would show the same consideration to conservatives, evangelical Christians and the military.
