Notable: His win in the 2006 Honda Classic moved him into the world rankings top 10 for the first time. In January 2007 he moved up to seventh in the world.

Did you know? He won the NCAA men’s title in 1999, beating the scoring record formerly held by Tiger Woods.

Andres Romero (Argentina)

Ranking: No. 35 Born: Tucuman, Argentina Residence: Yerba Buena, Argentina Age: 27. Ht/wt: 5-10/185 Turned pro: 1998 Pro wins: 8 (1 PGA) Match Play: 5-4

Notable: In 2007 British Open, he was third behind Sergio García and Pádraig Harrington, making 10 birdies on the last day. Earned first PGA Tour win at New Orleans’ Zurich Classic.

Did you know? Romero’s nickname is “Pigu.”
