Ted Bednar, owner of T.J. Bednar & Co., and Bud Cardinal, owner of C&C Construction Co., were named life directors by the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association. Each has completed seven years of service on the board of directors within a 10-year period. Bednar has been building in Tucson since 1976. Cardinal has been building locally since 1969.
Timothy J. Prouty is the new chairman of the Tucson Airport Authority. He has been on the board since 2006 and has been a member of TAA since 2001. Prouty is the managing director of CB Richard Ellis Inc. in Tucson.
Also, seven new members were elected to the authority: Ruth Brinkley, Ginny Clements, David Cohen, Tony Finley, Larry Finuf, Taylor Lawrence and James Moore Jr.
