Afni Inc. will add 250 jobs in Tucson

Afni Inc. announced Tuesday it will be adding 250 jobs in Tucson as part of the company’s nationwide job expansion.

Afni, a Bloomington, Ill.-based business outsourcing service center, employs 1,500 at three Tucson locations. The firm is adding 650 jobs nationally to its work force of about 4,600.

The jobs range from entry level to professional, and benefits include medical, dental, 401(k) and tuition reimbursement.

Business-oriented hotel open on Oracle Road

A new business-oriented hotel has opened in Oro Valley near the Steam Pump Village shopping center.

The Wingate by Wyndham Hotel has 104 guest rooms and suites, meeting rooms, a private boardroom and complimentary business and fitness centers. It is also caters to leisure and family travelers.

Ivan Drechsler is the general manager of the hotel at 11075 N. Oracle Road.
