Notable: One of the golf world’s hottest commodities, he won his first PGA Tour title in September, winning the BMW Championship by two shots.

Notable: He has tremendous power, evidenced by his 302.1-yard driving average last year.

Robert Karlsson (Sweden)

Ranking: No. 7 Born: Katrineholm, Sweden Age: 39 Ht/Wt: 6-5/199 Turned pro: 1989 Pro wins: 10 Current tour: European WGC Match Play: 0-3

Notable: Has had a steady career on tour, the highlight of which came in 2008 when he won the European Order of Merit title.

Did you know: Karlsson is one of the tallest golfers on the European Tour at 6 feet 5 inches. Like many top Swedish golfers, he lives outside his home country, basing himself in Monaco.
