Options for a quick bite.

The multimedia exhibition showing through March 8 at Desert Artisans Gallery, 6536 E. Tanque Verde Road, is “Sonoran Dream,” which features the works of local artists Don Carter, Nancy Cressler, Darlene LeClair, Susan Meyer, Peggy Taylor and Jan Thompson. Gallery hours are 10-5 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays and 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sundays, with extended Friday hours until 7 p.m. Here are five good eateries near the gallery:

AMBER RESTAURANT & GALLERY

7000 E. Tanque Verde Road, 296-9759, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. daily

Kielbasa, pierogis and potato pancakes are great at this new European and Polish restaurant.

THE ECLECTIC CAFE

7053 E. Tanque Verde Road, 885-2842, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Mondays-Fridays, 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturdays, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Sundays

Comfortable, friendly cafe has been serving breakfast, lunch and dinner for almost 30 years.

ITALIA

Carpaccio of Beef, Baked Ziti in Pancetta Cream and Pork Osso Buco are big at this Country-style Italian eatery

MOM ‘N POP DONUT SHOP

7854 E. Wrightstown Road, 721-6611, 6 a.m.-until the doughuts run out Tuesdays- Saturdays

If you’re hitting the gallery early, this is the place to stop for stellar donuts, fritters and the like.

SERTINO’S CAFE

Relative newbie has a nice variety of toasted deli sandwiches, salads, artisan coffees, frozen yogurt and ice cream.
