Dr. Maria De Los Angeles Muniz has been named medical director for the Arizona Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross. Muniz will oversee the region’s medical services and procedures.

Marie Pearthree, senior management consultant for CH2M HILL in Tucson, has been elected director-at-large for the American Water Works Association. Pearthree was deputy director at the Tucson Water Department for 10 years.

AWWA is an organization of water professionals that works to advance public health, safety and welfare.
