Boris Kozolchyk, founder and president of the Tucson-based National Law Center for Inter-American Free Trade, will be honored by The National University of San Marcos in Lima, Peru, at the International Congress on Contract Law. The honor recognizes his work in international contracts, and especially commercial contracts. Kozolchyk is the Evo DeConcini Professor of Law at the University of Arizona College of Law.

Tucson Federal Credit Union hired Sandra Thompkins as a registered representative for its Investment Services department.

Adriana Prieto and Dianne Janis have joined the board of directors for the Diaper Bank of Southern Arizona. Prieto, a Tucson native, is employed by the City Manager’s Office. Janis is director of investor relations for TREO.

Dr. Fayez K. Ghishan, director of the Steele Children’s Research Center, has been selected to receive the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine Distinguished Alumnus Award for Achievement, which highlights significant contributions of graduates to science, medicine, health care and their communities.
