YWCA sets courses for women seeking jobs

The YWCA of Tucson has planned courses to help women who are unemployed, underemployed or changing jobs.

The classes, taught at the YWCA Frances McClelland Leadership Center, 525 N. Bonita Ave., cost $25 each.

“Skills for Successful Employment” will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 10.

“Introduction to Microsoft Word and PowerPoint” is set for 1 to 5 p.m. March 11.

“Introduction to Microsoft Excel” is slated for 1 to 5 p.m. March 18.

The monthly workshop will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. March 19. It’s titled “Leaders are Made, not Born.” Registration fee for the workshop is $20.
