City to host workshop on business programs

Tucson’s Office of Equal Opportunity Programs will hold a free workshop March 9 on programs for minority- and women-owned small businesses.

It will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Tucson Police Department’s Westside Service Center, 1310 W. Miracle Mile.

Topics include an explanation of the various programs, qualifications, how to participate and a line-by-line application review.
