Walk at Reid Park Sat. to fight epilepsy

Roam around Reid Park to help raise awareness of epilepsy and to support the program and services of the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona at the eighth annual Arizona Epilepsy Walk.

More than 3 million Americans have epilepsy, with 59,000 of them living in Arizona, according to the foundation’s Web site.

The event is from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the park, 900 S. Randolph Way.

The cost is free but donations are encouraged.
