The A List

Citizen Staff Report

Jeffrey Willis, a partner in the Tucson office of Snell & Wilmer LLP, has been named Lawyer of the Year in his practice area by the publishers of The Best Lawyers in America. Willis, who concentrates in the area of complex high-stakes commercial litigation, was consistently rated at the top of his field by his peers, earning him the designation Tucson “Bet-the-Company Litigator” of 2009. Willis has been named to the Best Lawyers list each year since 2001, but this is his first Lawyer of the Year selection.

Linda Broughton, general manager of BHP Billiton Base Metals, was named a vice chair of the board of the Arizona Foundation for Resource Education. This Phoenix-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization provides development in mathematics, technology and the environmental sciences to educators in Arizona’s K-12 districts and schools.

Our Digital Archive

This blog page archives the entire digital archive of the Tucson Citizen from 1993 to 2009. It was gleaned from a database that was not intended to be displayed as a public web archive. Therefore, some of the text in some stories displays a little oddly. Also, this database did not contain any links to photos, so though the archive contains numerous captions for photos, there are no links to any of those photos.

There are more than 230,000 articles in this archive.

In TucsonCitizen.com Morgue, Part 1, we have preserved the Tucson Citizen newspaper's web archive from 2006 to 2009. To view those stories (all of which are duplicated here) go to Morgue Part 1
