Pima softball

The Aztecs improved to 25-5 with a pair of easy wins Thursday.

The Aztecs beat visiting El Paso (Texas) CC 9-1 and 8-0 in a nonconference doubleheader.

Chelsea Evanoff (Sabino) earned the win in the first game, while Illiana Teran (Sunnyside) won the second contest.

Elisa Stensby had a pair of hits in each game for Pima, which hosts Glendale for a doubleheader starting at noon Saturday.

Pima women’s tennis

The Aztecs beat visiting Eastern Arizona 6-3 on Thursday to improve to 3-3.

Pima is off until next Thursday, when it hosts Mesa at 1:30 p.m.
