Transportation plan open houses set

The Pima Association of Governments will take comments starting next week on its proposed transportation plan for 2010-14.

The $1.5 billion Transportation Improvement Plan is the latest adjustment to a plan launched in 2007 after voters approved a sweeping $2.1 billion, 20-year regional plan.

Open houses are scheduled:

• 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner Green Valley Public Library, 601 N. La Cañada Drive, Green Valley

• 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Randolph Golf Course Clubhouse, 600 S. Alvernon Way

• 4:30 to 6 p.m. Friday in the food court at Foothills Mall, 7401 N. La Cholla Blvd.

• 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Desert Sky Middle School, 9850 E. Rankin Loop
