Re: NCAA Tournament

Go get ‘em Cats! This team is a bunch of fighters. They could have transferred, gone to the NBA or given up this season, but they stuck it out and made it to the tournament. Real fans are proud of this team. Bear down!

WILBURROCKS

Utah is in the top 25, we’re the last at-large team and a 12 seed, yet we’re the favorite, according to Vegas. That should tell you something. Chase played well last tourney and I think he got his stinker out of the way against ASU.

I appreciate Arizona’s winning attitude but the team is going to have to play a heck of a lot better than they have in the last six games.

DOGS OF WAR

Poor old (ASU). Best team they’ve had in eons . . . still can’t win a conference title. This despite a down year for the Pac-10 with traditional powers UCLA and Arizona not up to their usual prowess.

Our Digital Archive

This blog page archives the entire digital archive of the Tucson Citizen from 1993 to 2009. It was gleaned from a database that was not intended to be displayed as a public web archive. Therefore, some of the text in some stories displays a little oddly. Also, this database did not contain any links to photos, so though the archive contains numerous captions for photos, there are no links to any of those photos.

There are more than 230,000 articles in this archive.

In TucsonCitizen.com Morgue, Part 1, we have preserved the Tucson Citizen newspaper's web archive from 2006 to 2009. To view those stories (all of which are duplicated here) go to Morgue Part 1
