Three men and a teenage boy arrested in a home invasion each were ordered held in lieu of $50,000 bail on felony charges of aggravated robbery, armed robbery, kidnapping and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a Pima County Jail records clerk said.

Bail was set at initial court appearances for the four.

Tucson police say the suspects entered a home Tuesday through an unlocked door and took computers, a TV and jewelry.

Tucson police Sgt. Fabian Pacheco said those arrested were Diamond J. Taylor, 20; Ronnie J. Anderson, 25, and Albert Bell III, 24. The 17-year-old is not being named by the Tucson Citizen because of his age.

Pacheco said the suspects wore masks and one intruder had a shotgun.

One of the victims was online with a friend when the invasion took place around noon and she told him to call police. The suspects ransacked the apartment and fled in a Ford Expedition, Pacheco said.

Officers stopped the vehicle soon after and the four fled. Officers and two police dogs captured them, Pacheco said.

All property from the home in the 1200 block of East Grant Road was recovered.

Our Digital Archive

This blog page archives the entire digital archive of the Tucson Citizen from 1993 to 2009. It was gleaned from a database that was not intended to be displayed as a public web archive. Therefore, some of the text in some stories displays a little oddly. Also, this database did not contain any links to photos, so though the archive contains numerous captions for photos, there are no links to any of those photos.

There are more than 230,000 articles in this archive.

In TucsonCitizen.com Morgue, Part 1, we have preserved the Tucson Citizen newspaper's web archive from 2006 to 2009. To view those stories (all of which are duplicated here) go to Morgue Part 1
