Michelle Nolen Senner has been promoted to director of marketing at Truly Nolen of America Inc. Senner’s key responsibilities will include managing budget and contracts, vendor relations, reviewing and approving material for the company’s various media including print and billboard and continuous development of the Web site and other online environments. Senner has an MBA from the University of Arizona.

Eugene W. Gerner, Ph.D., director of the Arizona Cancer Center’s Gastronitestina Cancer Program and the National Cancer Institute-funded Specialized Program of Research Excellence in GI Cancers, has been named a Leading Edge Researcher at The University of Arizona at the UA’s sixth annual Innovation Day celebration. He was cited for his development of a two-drug combination shown to reduce the risk of recurrent colorectal polyps, a precursor to colon cancer, by up to 95 percent with minimal toxicity.
