Public feeds Pastische’s passion for philanthropy

Citizen Staff Writer
From the blog

Order chicken soup from now until the end of the year at Pastiche Modern Eatery, 3025 N. Campbell Ave., and the restaurant will give the Community Food Bank $2 for every bowl and $1 for every cup.

The kitchen will keep the offering interesting throughout the year, as chicken will be the only constant in the changing varieties of chicken soup for Tucson’s soul.

Every dollar donated to the Food Bank provides $9 of food. Of those served by the Food Bank, 40 percent are children, 45 percent are working poor and 12 percent are seniors.

For June, Pastiche also rolls out Philanthropy with Phlavor month, with 5 percent of every check donated to the charity of your choosing.

Pastiche is open 11:30 a.m.- midnight Mondays-Fridays and 4:30 p.m.-midnight Saturdays and Sundays. Phone is 325-3333.

Our Digital Archive

This blog page archives the entire digital archive of the Tucson Citizen from 1993 to 2009. It was gleaned from a database that was not intended to be displayed as a public web archive. Therefore, some of the text in some stories displays a little oddly. Also, this database did not contain any links to photos, so though the archive contains numerous captions for photos, there are no links to any of those photos.

There are more than 230,000 articles in this archive.

In TucsonCitizen.com Morgue, Part 1, we have preserved the Tucson Citizen newspaper's web archive from 2006 to 2009. To view those stories (all of which are duplicated here) go to Morgue Part 1
