Video of reported UFO in Zhejiang province in China

by on Sep. 05, 2010, under UFOs

A video of the recent UFO sighting in the Zhejiang province in China has been posted below, as requested by Paranormal Old Pueblo readers.

As previously reported on September 2nd, the object sighted on Tuesday night in China was very bright, according to eyewitnesses. It was visible for at least three hours. It drew the attention of two reporters from Haiyan’s local television station. The reporters who followed the object by car were said to have taken relatively clear pictures of it.

The reporters stated that the pictures they took show: “a round object that had shining blue lights, and several other flickering objects around it.”

The object’s appearance seemed to change at one point, according to eyewitnesses. The round object seemingly became rectangular before eventually flying higher and disappearing.

Other witnesses said that the object constantly twinkled and was not flying at a high altitude. One of them noted: “It looked quite big and it seemed that it was moving.”

I wonder if education is so bad in that province that they’ve never heard of planets and satellites?

    • Cherlyn Gardner Strong

You are a hoot, Three Sonorans. No, the students in that province do much better than Arizona in education! Ha!

I don’t like videos, as they can’t really get a good shot of the object. I’m hoping for a better shot to surface.

As far as the province goes:

“Great men of past times have filled Zhejiang’s history with their deeds, and its land with their renown. The province has always been in the front ranks in education, science and technology, and culture and art. It has been a major influence in Chinese literature, theatre, painting, calligraphy, and arts and crafts. There are five famous historical and cultural cities at national level in Zhejiang, which are Hangzhou, Ningbo, Shaoxing, Quzhou and Linhai. Hangzhou, the capital city, is one of the seven ancient capital cities in China, and also a famous tourist city.”

        Touche!

But then again, being on top of Arizona in education is not saying much… just ask Mississippi and South Carolina :)

I’m open-minded, but I agree that this video was bad quality. I also tend to have a different point of view of UFO (from ETs).

I think it’s a possibility, but that we shouldn’t view them as gnats flying around above us for our entertainment… they came from other worlds and possessed the technology to get here, after all. A UFO coming would be a HUGE event.

And of course if our satellites and amateur radio hobbyists could pick up Sputnik, something less than two feet in diameter as it traveled around the world, surely we would pick up an intergalactic vehicle from outer space… at least some radio signals of evidence or something…

But then again, this is in China, and while they are smart, I’m sure their government has a lot of data they are hiding, or prohibiting from getting out. Just like our own government.

        • Cherlyn Gardner Strong

Yes, there are many different views out there, which is good. I like when people have open minds and think of the various possibilities. What I don’t like is when people say “it’s impossible” and dismiss the whole thing.

I’m actually surprised that the object was up there for three hours and it doesn’t appear that any aircraft took flight in order to get a closer look. At least, that was not mentioned in any articles. Who knows what the Chinese government knows or what they are hiding. I’m sure it is much like our government.

In China, they do have many private planes that fly illegally, so perhaps nothing in the sky surprises them anymore. Of course, we Americans have traditionally been hostile to anything in our airspace that hasn’t filed proper flight plans.

thank you miss strong for your insightful reply to three sonorans lame attempt at debunking.  people like him are quickly becoming the minority and the truth is finally beginning to come to light.

    • Cherlyn Gardner Strong

Thank you! Actually, he is a fellow blogger on the Tucson Citizen and I have given him a hard time on his political blog on more than one occasion. :-) He believes in some things, in his own way. He does have an open mind and thinks about things. That’s more than others do. Some people just don’t make an attempt to even consider it. I hope that a better video or photo surfaces of this incident. As you pointed out, the majority are comfortable with the idea of UFOs and aliens.

planets and satellites??? Wow, yeah surely that looked like one of those two. (Sarcastic tone in case you can’t tell.)

I would like to see a closer shot of the object it looks like it hung out there long enough for there to be multiple recordings. Very interesting one, it almost looked rectangular for a few seconds.

    • Cherlyn Gardner Strong

Yes. It was very odd the way it appeared to change shape. I’ll keep looking for a different video or pictures of it. If it attracted the attention of television reporters to get the footage, I’m sure others also captured images or videos.

    i swear 2 god i saw it today 5th september  2010
i live in saudi arabia and yesterday was like a super holy day for muslims .. me and 2 of my friends saw objects like stars but they move fast as hell … they were far away in space .. very far that u can’t tell if it’s a moving star or some thing like “UFOs”
anyways .. we saw like 3 of them moving fast between the normal stars .. they even looked like stars .. no flashing  just moving fast no colors 2

  • fraser007

Darn are they picking up our recon aircraft again? Guess we will have to fly higher next time.

    • Cherlyn Gardner Strong

Well, it could be. Until it’s identified, it’s a UFO. :-)

      • fraser007

True enough. Its just that many UFO’s have been mis-identifued. (not swamp gas!!) Many of our recon craft are highly advanced, whether manned or unmanned.
One other point. What are the chances that UFO’s could be a robotic craft flown by alien robots. Not to disappoint the Star Trek fans (myself included) faster the light speed just may not be possible. Therefore exploring our small part of the galaxy just may be easier with that type of craft and robots. Aliens may live about as long as us and speeding around the galaxy would eat up just as much time for them as for us. The erratic behavior of the UFO’s could explain that. This concept was explained in a book on the search for E.T. when I can locate the book in my library I wll cite it for you. I found that concept to be very interesting.

        • Cherlyn Gardner Strong

Yes, I agree. Many UFOs are of the Earth, but haven’t been identified. It does go both ways. Hopefully the two Baylor physicists who believe that traveling warp speed is possible can prove it in our lifetimes. They are working on a theory.  http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/05/090507175838.htm I’m impressed at how many Star Trek concepts have become a reality, which the inventors of the products credited to the show for inspiring the ideas. Absolutely, forward any citations, I’m interested in all concepts. Thanks!
