What a great time and thanks to all the UA fans who showed up at Mr. An’s Teppan Steak & Sushi on Thursday night for the debut of the Arizona Vault Basketball Book.
The thanks also goes to Fox 11, KGUN 9 and KOLD 13 for showing up and doing a piece on the book signing. There was a pretty good line at the table signing autographs for the new book — former UA coach Lute Olson, Reggie Geary, Joseph Blair, and me.
It was a good night and a night of brisk sales. There were some great fans –- how about the guy who had countless items to sign, including the first book from the 1997 championship season? -– and great people to meet.
Thanks to TucsonCitizen.com’s Anthony Gimino for taking pictures to Dino Chonis (Tino’s Pizza) for buying a number of books. Lute was busy with his book, too.
Look for my next signing soon and look for us to be back at Mr. An’s at the grand opening at Casino Del Sol in December. To get your copy of the University of Arizona Basketball Vault send me an email at Steve.Rivera95@gmail.com or call or text 520-661-5302.

Joseph Blair (left) and Reggie Geary interact with fans at the book signing. Geary, who was an assistant last season at SMU, is back in Tucson, putting out feelers for other coaching positions. He can sometimes be heard as a guest on the Out of Bounds radio show on 1290-AM, hosted by Blair and ex-Cat Corey Williams. The show airs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays. The book revisits the biggest games in Arizona history, using pull-out replica items to help tell the story.
