Holder Lied: DOJ News Release Shows Obama Admin Approved ATF Mexico Weapons Smuggling
by Hugh Holub on Jul. 10, 2011, under atf, politicsTim King at the Salem News.com has published about the best and most comprehensive article I’ve seen about the ATF Fast and Furious scheme that allowed guns to “walk” into the hands of the Mexican drug cartels and border bandits.
Two of the ATF “walked” guns were found at the murder scene of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry south of Tucson.
Kin connects the dots and proves US Attorney General Eric Holder knew about Fast and Furious, even though Holder denied knowledge in testimony to Congress:

Eric Holder gave false info. to a Congressional Committee last May about ATF operations tied to the deaths of two U.S. Agents; we have the proof.
(SALEM, Ore.) – New information indicates that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder’s actions are squarely behind the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms) operation known as “Fast and Furious”, which orchestrated the delivery of almost 2,000 weapons to Mexican drug cartels[1].
Holder openly proclaimed his connection to the operation in April 2009 during a publicized speech in Mexico, then told a Congressional Committee in May 2011, “I probably heard of Fast and Furious the first time in the last few weeks.”[2]

So Hugh,
Who do you think “Gunrunner” took the path it did in 2009?
What was the goal in your opinion?

Verry interesting question.
Having put together “operations” where the legal types interact directly with law enforcement to stage a case this is totally freakingly strange.
Once we fed marked money into a state government and busted a bunch of “public” servants..”walking” the money…as it were….
But how on earth could anyone think walking guns to border bandits and the drug cartels would do anything but arms the bad guys and leave a lot of dead bodies around…including our own guys.
The only theory that makes any sense that has been posed is this was some kind of scheme to justify much tougher gun laws.
I look at the folks in some of the border towns that have been taken over by the cartels and see what the consequence is when only the criminals have guns. Mexico is the perfect example of a strong gun control country that disarmed its civilian population and opened the door for a murderous takeover of their country.
I am not depending on calling 911 to protect my family.

‘Mexico’ is what happens when the Citizenry relenquishes the effective tools of self defense to the ‘oath takers”

all indications point to the use of fast and furious to claim American gun laws caused all the violence, and deaths of the Mexican drug war. A democratic congressman, Rep. Elijah E. Cummings ( D-Md. ), has already penned an article that claims such nonsense. At the same time, the DEA and CIA ship in the drugs, and send guns to their favourite cartel. The Mexican drug war is a war of Govt cartels versus their competition.

The whole scheme is about finding a way to get our guns. Every time I read something like this I just buy more ammo or a larger caliber launching device. Think about it. Why would a Mexican drug guy buy an AR-15(semi auto and not that dependable) for $1200 when he can get an AK-47(full auto and very dependable) for $100? Duh

So where can I get that $100 AK-47. Thats a great price!
