Video: Arizona-Duke 2001 national championship game

You have 76 minutes, 26 seconds to spare?

That’s how long it will take for you to watch the 2001 national championship game between Duke and Arizona at NCAA.com. No commercials. Link here.

If you’re an Arizona fan, you might not want to watch all the way to end, but it’s mostly a pleasant trip down memory lane to see Michael Wright, Richard Jefferson, Loren Woods, Gilbert Arenas, Jason Gardner and sixth-man Luke Walton.

Arizona will forever wonder if the result — an 82-72 Duke victory — would have been different if Arenas hadn’t been suffering from a shoulder injury. He shot 4 of 17 from the field, missing all eight of his 3-point attempts.
