Arizona added the biggest player to its 23-player recruiting class on Friday, as offensive tackle Jacob Alsadek committed to the Wildcats.
Alsadek (6-7, 332) is from Torrey Pines High School in San Diego.
He is rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports, but is not yet ranked by Rivals.com and Scout.com.
Alsadek also had offers from Arizona State, Colorado, Kansas State and Oregon State, among others.
He took an unofficial visit to Arizona in May, meeting coaches and players while school was in sessions.
“It’s like a family,” Alsadek told WildcatSportsReport.com, a TucsonCitizen.com partner. “With the coaches, I know my commitment to them is a commitment from them to me as well.”
He is the third offensive lineman in Arizona’s recruiting class, joining junior college center Steven Gurrola and high school guard Logan Stott, who was the first recruit in the class, originally committing when Mike Stoops was the head coach.
