Arizona Wildcats’ injury list shorter than last week’s version

The Arizona Wildcats’ injury list is shorter than it was last week, with only two players considered out — linebacker Greg Nwoko (hip) and tight end Drew Robinson (pneumonia) — and nobody listed as doubtful.

Two players are questionable — true freshman linebacker Dakota Conwell (foot) and backup left guard Cayman Bundage (knee). Bundage’s injury was the only significant one from the season-opener.

Linebacker Hank Hobson, a likely starter when healthy, missed last week’s game because of a shoulder injury. Arizona lists him as probable for Saturday night’s game at Oklahoma State. Defensive end Dan Pettinato, another potential starter, is listed as probable after missing the Toledo game because of a knee injury.

Linebacker Rob Hankins, who missed almost all of camp and the opener because of a concussion, has been taken off the injury list. So, overall, the news is good for Arizona’s thin linebacker corps.

The Wildcats have a couple of other potential reinforcements who were out last week. Neither center/guard Addison Bachman (concussion) nor tackle Trent Spurgeon (ankle) are on this week’s injury list.
