Arizona’s home game against Oregon State set for a night kickoff

Who’s up for another night game at Arizona Stadium?

The Arizona Wildcats, after three consecutive 7:30 p.m. home kickoffs to start the season, will have another late night when they play host to Oregon State on Sept. 29. That game is set for a 7 p.m. start and will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks, the school announced Sunday.

Overall, it will be at least five night games in a row for the Wildcats, who play at third-ranked Oregon on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Coach Rich Rodriguez, not used to this kind of abundance of night games when he was at West Virginia and Michigan, said last week that waiting around for a late kickoff can be “torture.”

The time and network for Arizona’s next six games after Oregon State are still to be determined. The Friday night finale against visiting ASU on Nov. 23 is set for 8 p.m. in Tucson on ESPN.
