The Arizona Wildcats’ 2013 football schedule includes a Pac-12 opener at Washington’s renovated Husky Stadium and a Thursday night road game at USC.
The Pac-12 is planning to release the dates of the entire conference schedule at noon Tucson time, but TucsonCitizen.com has confirmed UA’s schedule an hour earlier.
The Wildcats will play their first two conference games on the road — at Washington on Sept. 28 and at USC on Thursday, Oct. 10. The game in Seattle will mark the Pac-12 opener for both teams. Four of UA’s first five conference games are on the road.
Arizona doesn’t leave the state after a Nov. 2 game at Cal, which features new head coach Sonny Dykes, a former UA offensive coordinator.
The Cats have a stretch of three consecutive home games in November — UCLA, Washington State and Oregon (expected to be a national championship contender) — before finishing at Arizona State on Nov. 30. The Nov. 9 game against UCLA will be Homecoming on the Arizona campus.
After missing Cal and Washington State in the first two years of cross-divisional play in the Pac-12, the Wildcats won’t play Stanford or Oregon State in 2013 and 2014.
