The Arizona Wildcats, coming off a 38-13 victory over UTSA, picked up the support of two more AP voters this week.

Matt McCoy of WTVN-AM in Columbus, Ohio, and John Shinn of the Norman (Okla.) Transcript joined Ed Johnson of the Albuquerque Journal and Kyle Ringo of the Boulder (Colo.) Daily Camera in having the Cats in the Top 25.

Johnson and Ringo tab Arizona at No. 22. McCoy puts Arizona at 24th, and Shinn has UA 25th.

The Wildcats have 11 total points, which puts them seventh among “others receiving votes.”

Arizona is off this week before opening Pac-12 play at Washington on Sept. 28. With a win there, coach Rich Rodriguez’s team should be on all of the 60 AP ballots.
