USA Today, our Gannett partner, ranks the best games of the college football weekend, putting the Arizona Wildcats’ conference opener at Washington at No. 5.
Sounds right.
Higher ranked games, starting at No. 1, are LSU at Georgia, Wisconsin at Ohio State, Oklahoma at Notre Dame, and Ole Miss at Alabama.
USA Today writes about the Arizona-Washington game: “Both teams have offenses that rank in the top 20 and defenses that rank in the top 10. Arizona won this game 52-17 last season, but Washington’s improved attack featuring Keith Price and Bishop Sankey will be tough to stop.”
The game starts soon after 4 p.m. Saturday on FOX. The 3-0 Huskies are ranked 16th. Arizona (3-0) is unranked.
