Arizona wide receiver Garic Wharton is questionable for Saturday’s game against Washington State because of a hip flexor injury, according to the team’s weekly injury report.

Wharton, one of the speediest players on the team, has 12 catches for 214 yards and two touchdowns this season, but has gone two consecutive games without a reception.

The only other player on the injury report is receiver Austin Hill, who returned to practice this week from an ACL injury, but, as coach Rich Rodriguez said, “cleared to practice is different than cleared to play.” Hill is considered “out” for this week’s game.

Starting linebacker Jake Fischer returned last week from a knee injury that cost him the Cal game on Nov. 2. Rodriguez said Fischer wasn’t 100 percent and probably won’t be.

“I’m as good as I’m going to be for the rest of the year,” he said.

Arizona plays the Cougars at noon at Arizona Stadium.
