Arizona Wildcats senior linebacker Jake Fischer and junior Jared Tevis have been selected to the first-team All-Academic football team, the conference announced Tuesday.

This is the third first-team nod for Fischer.

Three UA players made the second team: kick returner/backup running back Jared Baker, starting nose tackle Tevin Hood and starting kicker Jake Smith.

Eight Wildcats earned honorable mention: safety Jamar Allah, snapper Brian Chacon, receiver Trevor Ermisch, defensive end Reggie Gilbert, quarterback/holder Nick Isham, receiver Trey Griffey, punter Drew Riggleman, and safety Yamen Sanders.
